Finally After 3 Years !!!

Yeah ...finally after 3 years I read it…..M referring to DA VINCI CODE…
I know you might have speculated a lot of things reading the title of my Post..
But trust me ...It’s an achievement for me !!!

"I LOVE READING NOVELS", this would obviously be a contradictory statement and might sound fake if I admit tat "I took 3 yrs to read this book" . And the greatest irony is… this is exactly the kinda stuff tat I enjoy reading.

The fact is, it’s an Amazing book and M glad I din miss this MASTER PIECE….Every one around me had read and praised this book including my boyfriend…Infact he was the one who gave me this book when we first met . Since than I kept making attempts to read it but not more than 20 pages:((… Some how I never could cling to it ….Months later I would again make a fresh attempt but no success.

Finally after coming back to India, I decided to make a final attempt and just couldn’t stop reading it ….Series of clues left by Jacques Saunière (the Grand Master Of Priory of Sion) for his grand daugther to get to know a Secreat .A secreat which had been well guarded for thousands of years.A secreat which could actually questions the authenticity of Bible !!!

Serious of puzzles …Anagram...Fibonacci sequence…Secreat of Holy Grail….Hidden facts behind Leonardo’s Painting (Mona Lisa,Last Supper ,Madonna On Rock).It was just an amazing experience to relate all these real life stuff to this story.

Honestly I never knw the reason for the fame of Mona Lisa…Had always assumed that "No Eyebrows" was the reason …But the plot built around this painting seems quite convincing….It absolutely explains its existence and the smile.As per this book,this painting reflects the sacred union of male and female and the name Mona Lisa is actually an anagram for "Amon L'Isa", referring to the father and mother gods of Ancient Egyptian religion.

I absolutely enjoyed the narration of Louvre Museum, which I hd visited just months ago...Unfortunately, by then I never knw about these paintings and hence missed to glance at these ones except for Mona Lisa

About the climax...Hmm ....the climax of this book ,to an extent puts me off .I mean I found it a bit unrealistic….

Finally...I don wanna be Judgemental at all about the History of Christianity highlighted in this book….
What impresses me is the way the entire plot has been narrated….
Absolutely Fantastic piece of work and a MUST READ BOOK !!!
